 that but he was too much like a brother for me to see him as a partner.=20
      As I was applying mascara, Jon walked into the room as he often did. =
I loved that we had become close enough that he felt that comfortable. I co=
uld feel him smiling as he chuckled ?it literally took me 20 minutes to get=

      The club was tightly packed and we wouldn?t have it any other way. We=

      After a few drinks, my timid demeanor often slipped away and I could =

my heart stop. But what really dragged me in was his accent when he shared =

      I went back to the dance floor with Sam and he clearly didn't dance t=
hat well but it was sweet that he was out there trying. I caught a glimpse =
of Jon who gestured to come over. I politely excused self from a gracefully=
 accepting Sam and walked over to Jon ?What do you know about this dude?? J=
on looked concerned and said ?He?s the one you met at my birthday. He just =
got out of a relationship but he's more Andy?s friend, that's all I know?=

      ?Huh? Jon took my arm and we walked out side ?I know that huh. I need=

 a gulp without breaking eye contact. Sam looked surprised and a genuine sm=

thing in a girls drink?
      We continued to dance the night away while making frequent trips to t=
he bar and then the balcony. The conversations were great and hard to remem=
ber as the night slipped into early morning. As the final lights came on an=
d the announcement to kindly exit the vicinity started, Jon made the decisi=
on for me that he was taking me back to my place. I started to argue but th=
en realize I had put my friend through enough tonight. We made our way to t=
he car when Jon said something I couldn?t believe ?you two actually make a =
cute couple?. The look on my face showed my surprise and Jon reacted with a=
n eye roll and a weary ?Just get in the car?.       The ride home was quiet=
 with the radio in the background when I finally broke the silence ?what is=

      Mark was a ladies man and when the local store was closed, he counted=

      As everyone showed up the night slowly slipped away with music, playi=

?t have to do anything but don?t make me sleep out here with everyone else?=

g a huge mistake but was too intoxicated to care. I opened he door and he w=

ddenly felt panicked as I remembered my now broken promise to Sam. I made m=
y way to my locker to gather my purse and decided to not look at my phone u=
ntil I was home. I started toward the door when my co-worker nudged my arm =
with an ?okay girl, I see you? I looked up to see Sam standing by my car wi=
th a single rose. My heart fell but I was intrigued. ?I don?t remember tell=

ely went to his texts. ?You have got to be the coolest girl in town? and he=

Janna sped off from the curb and followed the car her husband was in a half=
 a block until he turned on the street to go home. She turned down the oppo=
site street in the direction of her sister's  home and dropped her off a fe=
w minutes later.  She proceeded to go back to her house to confront her hus=
band. Hunter  was sitting at the kitchen table crunching on frosted flakes =
cereal and reading a book when she walked in. He turned in the direction of=
 the slamming door and rolled his eyes at the sight of his wife and smirked=
 ?I know what you have been doing?? Janna said. ?And what do you know?? He=
r husband asked not looking up from his book. ?I know that you have been ch=
eating on me every night for the past three weeks. That?s what I know. I fo=

?Oh you followed me? Well, then you know it all right?? Hunter, her husband=
 said. ?Yes, the only thing I don?t know is who the woman is.? Janna contin=

g for the past few weeks is going to night school. There is no woman and by=

he table and picked up the book he was reading and put it on the coffee tab=
le in front of the old leather couch in the living room. He smirked and poi=

nna looked at the book and back up at Hunter and mentally put the pieces to=
gether. He was picking up his nephew to take him with him to night school. =
That is all she saw. She was so embarrassed. ?Well, it looked like you were=
 cheating. How come you didn?t tell me that you were going back to school??=
 Janna asked. ?I did tell you but you are so caught up in not listening to =
me that you probably didn?t even remember.? Hunter said laughing. ?Okay, ma=
ybe you are right. I?m sorry for jumping to conclusions. But, it did look s=
