Hi,

I've just begun to learn lojban a few days ago. And i find it rather =
fun. So thank you for providing all this information.

While going through the tutorials i've noticed that normally in a =
sentence before a  cmene you use la. Why is it done this way? Why can't =
it be like unless is specified it is always presumed to be la? Kinda =
like in java, where all methods are presumed to be protected unless =
otherwise specified.

To make it clearer here an example:

normally you would say:
la mari,as. dunda la .iulias. la klaudias.=20

what i am saying:
mari,as. dunda .iulias. klaudias.=20


If i am wrong please let me know, as i am a beginner at this and may =
make mistakes. Thank you for your time.
