I really thought Li was preparing for her true breakthrough in 2007, but then she got injured. She's done well at the last five majors she's competed at, and she was beginning to get dangerous. She's the best Asian player by far, and I think her game is great--it can go off, but that backhand is BEAUTIFUL. When she's healthy and playing in 2008 I'd expect her to continue making fourth rounds and quarterfinals, perhaps even a semifinal, at the slams. TIII, TII, and maybe one TI title to her name somewhere. In an interview she did not THAT long ago she said she was only going to play a couple more years. It doesn't seem like getting a major title is on her list of things to do, but I'll enjoy her while I can. She's a very talented girl. Shame it hasn't entirely translated into her results.
