Esteemed Board members.

From what I've seen, LLG and lojban have largely been a hobby for people
here. All of us have day jobs and even if we have extensive interests in
the language, we are short on time. We have several projects that are half
finished and maybe stuck.

I propose a solution for this problem. While all of us may be passionate
about it, we do not have someone who is dedicated to keep the projects
running and get reports and disseminate them both within the community and
in the press. This is a role that should be given to someone who has both
experience in project management and someone who would be paid to do it. I
think having someone do this and be paid for it will make sure that someone
keeps bugging all the people who are in charge of the projects. We can ask
them for quarterly reports.

I can also suggest someone I know personally who would be perfect for this
role and she lives in Pakistan so we don't even have to pay her in US
terms, rather in PK terms. She can be interviewed by whoever the board
appoints and we can bring in other candidates as well.
