I noticed a feature that might be usedful in Lojban. Quite often, a word from another language (such as a proper noun, new scientific term, word that not yet has been translated, ore a standard acromym) might have to be used. Rather than enclosing it in quotes or italicisin, I suggest that the work be preceded by a unusual symbol to indicate that it is "imported" from another language. I had seen the carat ^ used for this: for example in the Lojban to English dictionary, the word ENGLISH is used in the title. This could be changed into ^ENGLISH to signify that it is a Proper noun from another language. Other possible symbols that are obscure in the standard ASCII expanded set migh tbe considered, rather than the carat, such as a single brace {, emoticon[?], or other ususual symbol. Consider adding a symbol prefix to mark off words "imported" from another language. In looking at another artificial language. I noticed a fea= ture that might be usedful in Lojban.

Quite often, a wor= d from another language (such as a proper noun, new scientific term, word t= hat not yet has been translated, ore a standard acromym) might have to be u= sed. Rather than enclosing it in quotes or italicisin, I suggest that the w= ork be preceded by a =C2=A0unusual symbol to indicate that it is "impo= rted" from another language. I had seen the carat ^ used for this: for= example =C2=A0in the Lojban to English dictionary, the word ENGLISH is use= d in the title. This could be changed into ^ENGLISH to signify that it is a= Proper noun from another language. Other possible symbols that are obscure= in the standard ASCII expanded set migh tbe considered, rather than the ca= rat, such as a single brace {, =C2=A0 emoticon= , or other ususual symbol.

Consider adding a symbo= l prefix to mark off words "imported" from another language.
