I move that we create a "Project Manager" post, which should be paid as well. Said person should be in charge of coordinating all the efforts that we have ongoing. Even a cursory glance at everything we have been discussing over the past few months shows that we are rather ill organized and different projects are having trouble keeping up with each other. As I said before, given how every one of us has day jobs that take a lot of time and for most of us this work is a hobby and at most a passion, having someone whose "job" it is to keep all the work streamlined, making sure that there are deadlines, engaging with the community in general using the various social media platforms and being a bridge between all the various disparate communities we have in different countries would be invaluable. Said person should, theoretically, be able to help "rotate" the passionate people who appear, can't make headway in something here, and then leave. A Project Manager could then be our focal person for those people, helping them assign to various projects as "interns", so to speak. That way, even if their interest is fleeting and only lasts a couple of months, we'd still be able to get some value out of their interest. As for the "job", if we cannot have employees, is it possible for us to hire a contractor? IANAL and I don't understand most of it. Other than that, I actually have a perfect candidate for the job. If this motion passes, I'd present her resume to the board and we can decide whether or not to give her the job. Hi,

So I'll reiterate my proposal as a motio= n now. I move that we create a "Project Manager" post, which shou= ld be paid as well. Said person should be in charge of coordinating all the= efforts that we have ongoing. Even a cursory glance at everything we have = been discussing over the past few months shows that we are rather ill organ= ized and different projects are having trouble keeping up with each other. = As I said before, given how every one of us has day jobs that take a lot of= time and for most of us this work is a hobby and at most a passion, having= someone whose "job" it is to keep all the work streamlined, maki= ng sure that there are deadlines, engaging with the community in general us= ing the various social media platforms and being a bridge between all the v= arious disparate communities we have in different countries would be invalu= able. Said person should, theoretically, be able to help "rotate"= the passionate people who appear, can't make headway in something here= , and then leave. I suggest th= at gleki initiate this topic, possibly reposting the link Brian sent us.

Currently, they have= n't provided us with any alpha sketches of their software that can be t= ested.

They might be aiming at something similar to Memrise although under a vers= ion of CreativeCommons license.
I suggested= that they clone the idea of "English through pictures" textbook = on Basic English. Again no clear answer from them.

In fact they suggested nothing= new.
We still need someone to draw picture= s under certain license. If we had such person we'd have had such tool = long ago.
So I will be answering their ques= tions but no please don't think that there is someone that will do the = work instead of us.
