coi and how are you? 

I am still raising my kids, who are almost 16 and 12. I'm no longer working much so my time has opened up to get involved in various communities I had to leave or never joined when I was much busier. I still live in southwestern Virginia as I have since 1988, only moving between two areas 25 miles apart. Otherwise my life's been much too ordinary.

I have been following the messages I have received from the board meeting and have a question. Are you able and willing to store my request for membership (regular) in the community until the next members' meeting? I am working on increasing my involvement in the community as my personal situation now allows me the opportunity again. I was going to make the meeting in New Jersey last summer, but was unable to combine it with the extended family gathering I had in Massachusetts that ended the same weekend. My goal is to return to membership on the board at some future time. I know the board is not very active, particularly compared to long ago when I was on it and we meet at the home of lojbab and noras every year. I think it is important in part because I have offered to take over the legal status of the Virginia resident from lojbab as necessary.
