I have serious problems, not with expecting members be more involved in ways such as proposed, but with having a requirement that we do it in "pure Lojban." First, we, as members, are supposed to represent the Lojban community in Toto, which includes interested people who have not (or not successfully) studied lojban, people who are actively learning the language, and capable language users. Therefore, in order to be representative the members should come from all three groups and whatever others there are I've missed. Further, this requirement will drive interested people away from membership rather than lead to more capable speakers.
