gleki just noted to me that the meeting has been idle for a while.  I'm 
glad someone finally noticed, and took pain to say something.

It has been very hard for me to lead the community in the last couple of 
years, as my own focus on Lojban has waned for health and other reasons, 
and the community itself seems to no longer be centered around the email 
lists as it had for the last 25-odd years.

The meeting has suffered as a result.  I owe people an apology for my 
own failings in this.

It makes it more important that other people start stepping up.  It has 
been something like 6 weeks since the last meeting discussion died away, 
or 4 weeks if one considers the discussion of copyrights to be part of 
the meeting.  I can't tell, because guskant started the discussion, and 
I don't think I ever saw a motion.   But 4 or 6 weeks with nothing 
happening, and not even a comment from the membership is kinda sad.

There was at least one motion from Karen in the prior discussion, and it 
was seconded by Curtis Frank, but I think Karen withdrew the motion 
and/or someone modified the motion.  So I am not sure whether there 
remained a motion on the floor, and what it is.

There were earlier motions, I think from Craig and guskant, that I don't 
think were even seconded.

While there was some use of subject lines to help someone track the 
discussion, it wasn't clear enough for me to follow, especially when a 
dozen messages would appear discussing a motion before I even had a 
chance to acknowledge the motion, and people launched into new topics 
without a motion (though sometimes at least a different subject line).

At any rate, I am not all that sure where we are.  If there is a motion 
on the floor that needs to be decided, I would like either the mover or 
the seconder to speak up, so we can call a vote.   If no one speaks up 
within a few days we probably should adjourn, so the board can meet and 
start planning the 2016 meeting (possibly run by someone other than 
myself, and maybe with some methodology that helps people keep track of 
what is going on).

New motions are also allowed (perhaps some sort of official commendation 
on Robin's achievement is worth considering).  But let's try to make it 
snappy(snappier).
