First time eating there. I can say if your not hungry when you first get there. You will be once you're inside!..Greeting you makes you feel like you have... The ribs were tender and falling off the bone. The pulled pork was served on Texas toast , melt in your mouth.... This place is awesome. The chicken is some of the best in KC. I love Strouds, but this place may be better. I enjoy the catfish as well. If you leave here... I've eaten here twice and can't wait to go back. The food is great! The lazy susan is never lacking in food. When a dish gets low they immediately replace... Easily the nicest place to go to in town, but as the others reviews say...be prepared to spend a little extra $. ....The food was great and the service was... Ratings are a relative thing.  In Franklinton, Mike's is 5 stars.  The BBQ would be 3 -4 stars elsewhere; the steaks are 4 - 5 stars anywhere.  The hours... I've never had a bad meal here. But, be warned: The place is \"X-Rated.\" I would hate to take anyone here with gentle sensibilities. The owner is a hard... Ok, so Franklinton is not the Mexican food center of the universe.
