Currently, Ingram processes transactions and issues monthly statements to publishers based on a "4-4-5 calendar", which recognizes three months in each quarter divided into 4 weeks (1st month), 4 weeks (2nd month) and 5 weeks (3rd month). This means that our accounting month end does not necessarily coincide with the last calendar day of a given month. Beginning Jan. 1, 2017, Lightning Source Inc. (including IngramSpark), VitalSource Technologies Inc. and Ingram Publisher Services Inc. will follow a calendar month accounting cycle to better align with many of our clients.
