We sat at the Chef's bar and had a wonderful experience with the entire staff. On the pricey... It don't get any better than this. Several good choices in McAllen, but hands down as fine a restaurant anywhere in US to be found. Pittsburgh style filet... I didn't believe it possible to fall more in love with South Texas, but after an evening at House Wine \u0026 Bistro, I stand corrected! A true GEM in downtown... The fish is super fresh compared to other sushi restaurants. Also everything else besides the sushi is good too. Btw they have Ramen! The food is always great here as far as I've had. Good seafood at a reasonable price. Although initially we found our waiter to be a bit of a used car salesman he turned out to be very sweet.
