I was on my couch binge-watching all m= y favorite tv shows and movies, a typical Friday night. I had my control an= d popcorn by my side. People would be surprised how long I can sit on the c= ouch. Everybody else sees a typical Friday night as going out but I am not = everybody else. I like when I can get a little time to myself, it's mostly = stress-free unless my favorite Avenger dies out of nowhere; I would rather = not talk about it. My interest lies more in the adventure and comedy side. = From the Fast and the Furious movies to the tv show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I = am a pretty complicated and conservative person when it comes to tv. I was = rewatching my favorite episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, ?HalloVeen,? when the= squad is preparing for Halloween Heist Part 5 to see who is the best human/genius. A championship be= lt was involved and whoever had it by midnight would win. There were betray= als and secret alliances but that was not the best part. Jake, who is the b= est detective at the Nine-Nine, made it seem like he had gotten the belt; b= ut his partner at work and in life, Amy was smarter than that. She followed= him to the evidence room, where Jake had hidden the belt, and when she fou= nd it she knew she had won until? he told her to read what the belt said. W= hen Amy was about to read the belt, you can see Jake get down on one knee a= nd? THE SCREEN WENT BLACK!

Oh my gosh, it was at the best part. I= looked out the window and saw complete darkness. On the one day that I had= to relax, the power went out throughout the whole city. I tried to look fo= r a flashlight and found one with no batteries. Great no batteries to spare= I was just standing there in the dark, without the satisfaction of watchi= ng Amy's reaction to Jake's proposal. I guess I can just go outside and tak= e a walk since there is nothing better to do. I made it to the street where= I find other people that seem lost without their tv time and phones. I hea= rd people yelling, ?NO BARS, NEED TO FIND A SIGNAL!,? I loved sitting on my= couch on Friday nights but I was not that lost. I found my way downtown, w= here it did not look so well. When there is a blackout, people think that i= t's okay to go crazy and loot stores. I saw broken windows and glass everyw= here, it was just a mess. I may have been bored but I wasn't so bored to br= eak the law. The looters' rampage had passed so I decided to help out the s= tore owners by cleaning things up.  I swept up the broken glass and he= lped tidy things up. I told the store owners that the authorities have been= notified. It seems like when technology is down, so is people's state of m= ind. After I helped the store owners clean up, I kept walking in darkness w= ithout knowing what could happen.

I am still walking New York's shady-da= rk streets and so far this power outage has been quite interesting. Passing= the outcome of the looting rampage, I decided to make my way to work, to s= ee if I can be of any assistance. It was pretty hard to get to work because= of all the New York Traffic plus the power outage. I made my way down the = street but then I stopped because I had seen something happening in an alle= y that shouldn't have been happening. A man was trying to take a lady's pur= se. She was yelling at the man to let go but he wouldn't budge. I headed ov= er to confront the man and at first, he found it funny. I warned him to bac= k off but he didn't listen and pulled out a knife. I knew what I had to do,= I got in a fight position and I used what I trained for. I dodged the knif= e a few times and I was able to knock it out of his hand. Now it was a fair= fight, I gave him a pretty deep uppercut and kicked him in the gut which was what made him back off.= He ran and left the purse so my training did work. I helped the lady up an= d she thanked me. I made sure she was okay and told her to get home safe. I= watched the lady walk away and I was proud of myself for doing a good thin= g. After that interesting encounter which was not my first, I straightened = up and continued walking the crazy streets of New York.

Today I woke up not knowing that one p= ower outage would affect a whole city. So far this day was nothing like I i= magined my typical Friday night. My one day off work and I ended up not doi= ng what I usually plan. The streets of New York are full of frustrated peop= le that just want the poubereats.comontinue to bring light to the darkness.= Today was full of adventure but I think that is the best part of the job.&= nbsp;

It was a cold and foggy day when the p= ower went out for the first time in history.i had remembered that day as if= it had been haunting me.it all started with me waking up to a normal day. = I got ready and I had thought to myself I should ride my bike to work. Afte= r I got on my bike it had = been raining.so i went to get some coffee from the shop. As I walked in the= windows started to freeze the power went off then all you could hear was a= n air raid coming from a nearby bomber.i had been hearing that we had been = getting in some conflict with some other countries.every one in the buildin= g quickly ran to the window. To see what was going on.i looked closer and i= t had been a world war two German stuka and what it looked like it was hold= ing a nuke.so me and the people inside the building had tried to run to the= nearest building to run out of the bombs radius.as i was running i had tho= ught ?it was 2023 not 1930s the war had been won.? then out of the flam= es and the firing bomber then came more stuka's with all armed with nukes t= here was enough to nuke the entire country and still take out another.it wa= s very hard to tell what they were doing. As we were walking there were dog= s barking people screaming and people screaming for help, there had been a = kid crying cause he did not know what had happened so I took him with us an= d told him after we would help him find his parents and get him home. We ra= n to the nearest empty canal to run faster and get away.after i had got to = the canal, we were assisted by the military to escort us then they helped u= s get to the nearest shelter.we had spent the night. I had still been watch= ing the kid. So I took him to look for his parents. So I walked with him wh= en I took a break to sit down he ran off. I chased him but I lost him. Then= I turned around to find him. I looked and I looked but he was nowhere to b= e seen.Then it was night time, i had not find the boy but i could not stay = because we are just sitting ducks so i planned an escape.i knew i would not= do good by myself so i asked a guy if he wanted to help he said yes. Then = it was the next day I had got all the things I needed to escape.the night c= ame again so I left to go = with the man whose name is john. We had to sneak past some guards then we c= limbed the ladder to a fake sewage then we made it we had seen the aftermat= h of the attack.After we had been chased by some mutated dogs from the nuke= we were confronted with Nazis. they had been scouting the city.it was dark= no lights no sign of the military just the Nazi. i had amused we won and t= hey were the last.but as i kept going it had seemed wrong. We finally lost = the Nazi and we made it to a top of the building it was the tallest in = the town it had an amazing view of the night sky you could see the bright n= ight and the moon.it had looked like civilization had lost.after the night = we climbed down and we had heard a crying in the distance so we went to go = check it out, it got louder and louder. Then it stopped,then out of nowhere= whoosh! A tall figure had run across the dark street. Then as we got close= r it had been a little girl crying. There had been no tall figure, just a s= hadow of a crying girl whose face had been burnt of by the nukes. At least = i was in the shelter.i asked her what her name was and she did not reply bu= t kept crying and crying.then it stopped it all stopped. The crying, the pa= in, the hurt, it all was gone. I fell asleep and woke up the next day. it w= as all a dream as I sigh in relief. but as I open my eyes i was in a room t= hat looked like a shelter.so i walked around and people were looking at me.= I ran to a mirror and as I looked my face had been burnt like the girls bu= t not as bad. as i walk around and to get a better look at what had happen,= i heard some doctors talk= about the bombing and they said they bombed me and my friend and the girl.= i asked what happen they said you should be in bed.they called security= to take be back. i had asked the guards what happen and they stood quiet. = then they spoke, "you were bombed and you and the other guy got seriou= sly injured" then i asked "what happen to the girl?' no one spoke= then one guard said there was no girl. i said if you ask the other guy he = would say there was. then a guard said unfortunately he died a few hours ag= o. i asked how he said he was impaled by a scrap metal. And then one man ca= me running to tell the guards that they left. we all then new what he meant= by they. every one ran out to go try to repair and check the damage.so the= n we all ran out and left the bunker. then years went by and the damage was= so bad we had barely finished a block of homes. we had so many job opening= s that we needed to have volunteers to help rebuild.and again years went by= people came and go when they please we don't know how long it will take to= recover or even if it will. there where radioactive areas that can make yo= u grow extra limbs if you don't die from it. the town had change tourist ca= n to ask and then the world had learned a little later.
