Let us label for you

With the FBA Label Service, we label qualifying products on your behalf. If you enable the FBA Label Service, a fee of $0.20 will be charged for each Unit that we label. With each shipment you create, your default option will be to have us label for you, but you can still choose to label Units in a shipment yourself. You won't be charged for Units that you label yourself.

To get started, go to your Fulfillment by Amazon Settings page and enable the FBA Label Service. You can change your default settings for the FBA Label Service at any time.

Temperature Sensitive Products need to be removed by May 1, 2012

Summertime is just around the corner, so it is time to remove any temperature-sensitive products.   Products must be able to withstand a minimum temperature of 50 degrees and a maximum temperature of 100 degrees for the duration of the product's shelf life without adversely affecting product quality.

In order to help ensure a positive buying customer experience, temperature sensitive products are only accepted in Amazon FCs from the end of September through May 1. Temperature fluctuations in carrier trucks and fulfillment centers during the summer months could affect the product quality.

Please remove any products that are temperature sensitive as they will be unsuitable for storage and fulfillment during this time. Inventory not removed will be disposed of if a removal order is not placed by May 1, 2012.

Packing fragile products for shipping to a fulfillment center

Protecting your inventory is a top priority in our fulfillment centers and during shipment to customers, so it's important that you package fragile Units so they will not break and possibly create a safety hazard during storage, shipment preparation, or shipment to the customer.

  • A fragile Unit must be packaged in a six solid-sided box, so the Unit is not exposed in any way.
  • All Units must be individually wrapped to prevent damage. For example, in a set of four wine glasses, each individual wine glass must be wrapped.

Drop Test: Any breakable Unit must be able to pass a 4-foot drop test onto a hard surface without the Unit breaking. A drop test consists of five drops:

  • Flat on base
  • Flat on top
  • Flat on longest side
  • Flat on shortest side
  • On a corner

FMVS Test: All breakables must be able to withstand a full minute vigorous shaking (FMVS) test without the Units breaking.
