Greetings from Fulfillment by Amazon

Many sellers focus on the December holiday peak time, but what are your other peak seasons? Maybe your business model is to grow consistently through the year, or to sell for Mother’s Day and graduation in addition to the holidays. Taking advantage of new seasonal retail opportunities can boost your sales and help you to reach a whole new set of customers. With FBA, no matter when your peak time is, we’re ready to scale with you.

Packing Slips No Longer Required

FBA no longer requires packing slips for your shipments to Amazon fulfillment centers. We hope that this change will save you time and resources when packing your shipments. Please refer to the instructions shown during the shipment creation process for other shipment packaging requirements.

For Small Parcel Delivery Shipments, Count Each Box and Apply Unique Label

To help Amazon work toward faster receive times, we now ask you to include the number of boxes in your shipment during the Prepare Shipment step of the Shipment Creation Workflow. This new step is for Small Parcel Delivery (SPD) only, whether through Amazon Partnered Carriers or your own carrier.

FBA shipping labels now have unique identifiers, so you will also need to print out the entire set of labels for all your boxes in a particular shipment. You may need to modify your label printing process if you have been reproducing a single label to apply to all boxes in a shipment. This change also means you will need to reprint an entire set of labels for a particular shipment if you change the number of boxes in your SPD shipment.

For more information, please see the new instructions on our Prepare Shipment Help page, or visit the Amazon Seller Forums to participate in discussions with other sellers on this topic and other topics related to shipment creation.
