It's fascinating to me that you think voting is relevant.  This is a
task that entirely depends on finding people to do the actual work;
voting has nothing to do with anything.

This is, for the record, the first I've heard of this.

It would have been nice to hear about it at the time, so we could
have transitioned before they started drifting.

I don't know what this means, can you rephrase?

Yeah, no.  I can move the mediawiki portion to jukni, which will
probably speed it up, but I don't have the time to build a whole new
server.  Feel free to get someone else to build it and ship it to
me, if you like.

Sure.

We'd need to turn it off at some point; tiki is a huge resource hog,
and mediawiki is not much better.  Trying to run them both at once
is terrible, and should stop.

Unless the vote comes with someone besides me who is actually going
to do the work, I don't see the point.  I'm perfectly happy to
support the move, and indeed now that I know that the data has been
trasferred I think it's a great idea and I wish we'd done it ages
ago. but no amount of LLG voting will alter my behaviour on this
issue in any fashion.

If, on the other hand, you *can* find someone who will actually do
the work, that would make me ecstatically happy.  I will give
relevant access and teaching to anyone who is not obviously
incompetent.
