Notice of Policy Updates

Dear Robert Lechevalier,

We are making some changes to the PayPal User Agreement that will go into effect on June 25, 2016. If you're interested in all the details, take a look at our Policy Updates Page. Here are the highlights:

  • We’re updating the list of items in Section 11.5 that will not be eligible for PayPal Seller Protection.
  • We’re updating the eligibility requirements in Section 13.2 for Purchase Protection and the list of items in Section 13.3 that will not be eligible for Purchase Protection.
  • We’re revising Section 13.5 and will be requiring all buyers to wait at least 7 days to escalate a dispute to a claim regardless of the transaction amount.

These changes will be effective June 25, 2016 for all U.S. users.

As always, if you need help or have any questions, give us a call or visit our Help Center. You can find the link on any page of our website.

Thank you for being a PayPal customer.

Sincerely,

PayPal
