I've eaten here a dozen times or so over the... Went for lunch this week. Meatloaf special was tasty. Interesting menu with lots of choices. Cozy atmosphere. Great service. We are a family of 6 including a toddler. We stopped here at 6 o'clock on Saturday night without a reservation. Being from Chicago, we should have known... This is a wonderful place for a drink and appetizers. The ambiance is wonderful and the staff is curious and prompt. A great place to relax with friends and... Not only was our meal fantastic... Felt like homemade... And I was back in my grandmas house eating it!!! Wonderful wonderful out of the way dining... ....Not... The Fabulous Rainbow Room in Glitzy National City! I always love coming here. Wonderful service and amazing pizza. I've never gotten anything here other... If you seek excellent food, attentive service and a heaping helping of nostalgia, THIS is it. Great food, great service, very delicious food. We had only short stop here, so ate appetizers only. But even they were great. The atmosphere in the place... I can't speak for the restaurant side of the business but family members can't drive by without picking up something from the bakery side of the... In the middle of nowhere stands a unassuming brick building. Go inside and meet a former Grand Hotel Chef of Macanac Island fame. The food is both... Pretty good place. Had a salad and bloody mary on the way home from Alpena. I can only say that this place is a straight up Dive, but I loved it so much!! I drove the whole family 110 miles to get to this place.(My son had eaten... I'd go a 10 stars on the raspberry custard pie. My son won the WKJC backyard BBQ giveaway.
