A nice scenic ride, we went past the pavement down the mountain and back up and treated ourselves here after. Covered in dollar bills the restaurant/saloon... My god, we've found our new spot! Stopped by on a whim after running an errand in AJ. The inside is dark and divey with beer taps decorating the ceiling and... My husband and i stopped here for a quick beer and shared the nachos. Our bill was $19! Not bad for a premium view. We enjoyed sitting on the patio but the... What a hidden gem.  We are from the Washington, DC area and eat at our fair share of upscale restaurants.  And although we're certainly not food snobs (I... I normally don't go to AJ but I had an appointment yest so My husband and I had to be in the area. After finishing the appointment, we wanted to have lunch.... I took my 86 year old mother here for lunch on Sunday.  What a find!  My Mom orders a Reuben sandwich almost every time we go for lunch.  For her to say... So, what could be good about a restaurant called Dirtwater?  Well, everything. ....The drinks are delicious. They are generous on the pour, and mixed drinks... So happy to to find this restaurant in Gold Canyon. The atmosphere must be pleasant and it must be clean or forget anything else. This restaurant is that... If you see a family of traveling mountain style performers as a child, and then at the ripe old age of 29 are instantly reminded of them when you walk into... OK, both the wife \u0026 I love Southern Food. As a matter of fact (and many friends will attest to) we are pretty good cooks when it comes to Southern food.... Big place so usually can accommodate you when you arrive.  Went on a Sunday evening and sat our group of 5 immediately.  Outside bar was active.  Probably... It might be a little to 'clammy' tasting for some but I love it. Nice and thick like a true chowder should be. Potatoes... This is one of the finest well run places in the Villages. Two of the most professional bartenders I have ever seen. They have great personalities and can... Ate here for lunch and had the Panang curry. It was the perfect portion and the vegetables were cooked just right (and not overdone). I probably would order... It was crowed and all seats taken. Ordered to go and had ready in 10 mins. # choices of hotness.I got mild...needed medium gen g chick...It still was great... For small family dinner decided to drive around downtown Leesburg just checking out what new places were along Main Street. Lucky for us we noticed Turners... 5 star for REAL whipped cream and a massive amount of it when asked for extra.
