Not long ago, my buddy Mike went to grab his cellphone when he noticed a few missed calls from his mother and a text message that simply said...

"Please call me as soon as you can"

Sensing something was wrong, he called back right away, and when he did...he received the terrible news:

His grandmother, a huge part of his childhood and like a second mother to him, had not only had a massive heart attack a few hours before...

Had the chance to dine here three times while in town for business, and while the service was hit or miss (one poor server and another we had twice who was... The Nucleus Lounge is the coolest place in Alpena!!  Love the decor!! Have been here twice in one week and ordered The same thing off the menu it was so... Not a fan of Mexican food usually but this place changed all of that...I had the shrimp fajitas. Delicious, shrimp tasted fresh, rice was excellent, veggies... This place is a treasure.  Great food, historical significance and Ghosts. Yes a friendly ghost haunts this huge saloon / restaurant. ..It is full of... I have to say thanks to yelp and even urbanspoon for pointing this place out. We have been coming to our property in Hillman for quite a while (in fact... Absolutely the best place to go for breakfast and brunch! Must give the sticky buns a try. Place is always packed. I wonder how many eggs they go through in... I used to go here every summer when I was younger!  It had been about 15 years since I had been here!  This past weekend we stopped in at 8:45pm and... Great place with a very cool interior and exterior.  Excellent diner food with very friendly people. Wait staff was very good. Cooks even said hello and... I've been in Alpena for years and never stopped based on outside appearance.  Yelp reviews prompted me to give it a try and was I pleasantly surprised.... Tulum is absolutely everything a restaurant should be. Whatever they're doing, however they're doing it, they are doing it right! I've been looking for that... Good solid four star place.  Here for meeting some business friends who suggested the Flatiron for dinner.  Good choice.....The atmosphere is classy relaxed... Wow! The place is bigger than it looks from outside. A smaller outdoor seating area and located north of downtown and easy to get to off the highway.... I've said it before I'm not much of a fan of Mexican food that isn't my own. My husband is just as a big critic as I am. We reviewed the comments on Yelp... Jackson's best kept secret1..If you like REAL Mexican food, this is the place for you...If you know the difference between Te-Mex, Cali-Mex and authentic... Very homemade and delicious.  We were on our way to Nashville and dropped in for lunch.....I had  minestrone soup - tasted like an Italian version of pot... This was the best hibachi place I've ever been to. I've been going to hibachi since i was a little kid and this place by far had the best service, the best... We ate here a couple of years ago when we were visiting from Houston and I wanted to go back. It did not disappoint We had the Mexico roll and the Pickwick...
