ace must have alarmed the lifeguard. She saw the concern by the way he lean=
ed forward. At first, she wasn't able to make out the words he uttered. Sti=
ll dazed, she regarded him blankly
         What just happened? Is she the same person? Did some part of her o=
ozed out in a strange shape or form? Did she put herself in danger? Water p=
ark is playing tricks on her. Did she go too far putting herself out there =
for the day? Is her sister a bad influence on her? Hardly. They were both c=
arried away connected to the inner child within thanks to the sparkling wat=
er accentuated by the wonderful weather. She couldn't determine if this mov=
e compared to things she had done in her life. No, nothing came close.     =
     The lifeguard asked if she needed help. Sorting turmoil inside, yes, h=
elp would be nice. She would have loved to make sense of this intense feeli=
ng overpowering. Shaking her head, she looked at the water in bewilderment.=
 She wished there's a revelation of some kind. The man directed her towards=
 the exit. Precariously, she made her way slowly moving, pushing the water =
with her body. 'I bet the ones who swim find it easy to be in the rhythm of=
 swimming when water touches them. Life changing leap is bound to open door=
s. Maybe acquaint her with taking a dip in the water? It will aid her to co=
nquer aquaphobia.          Her sister. She spun around. The lifeguard frown=
ed inquiringly. 'My sister! I have to wait for her. She should be here any =
minute now.' She pointed upwards to the mouth of the Ziggurat. 'You need to=
 clear out of this area to give your sister safe landing. You may stand ove=
r there'. She positioned herself for the wait hoping for her sister to take=
 the plunge. Will she? Will she not? They were nudging each other saying, '=
you go first.' 'No, you.' 'Let me see how you do it and I follow.' 'No, you=
 have seen how it is done. Just do it.' When the instructor at the entrance=
 of the slide beckoned though, she stepped forward.          He explained t=
he routine. As she listened, she looked at the tube which would carry her f=
orward: 'get on the tube, lie down while holding the handlebar, cross your =
legs, hold the handlebar tight, cross one arm, push yourself with the other=
, cross the other and make sure your elbows are tucked in.' Did she look an=
ything like the men who did it before her? What kind of strange noise came =
out of her throat? In the meantime, she watched the lifeguard as he progres=
sed to giving thumbs up to the instructor who sent her to what seemed a bot=
tomless pit. She smiled weakly relaxed claiming her wits back. Would it hav=
e helped if they knew about the ins and outs of the place prior to their ar=
rival at Dubai Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark.          Leap of faith indee=
d! Disarming inhibitions. What was the tipping point which drew them to the=
 plunge? How did they end up here? She tried to remember. The descent. How =
long has it been? Things unfolded so fast. Infectious excitement emanating =
from glistening bodies all around emboldened both of them. The place was pu=
re melting pot. At this water park, one adventure after the other was intox=
icating. She knew this one to be different whey they were asked to put the =
double tube they carried.          Lazy River and The Current! Exhilarating=
 water rides laying back on double tube holding on to the handles their leg=
s dangling in the water! The sisters squealed ecstatic floating over twists=
 and turns! Electrifying adrenaline surged every now and then as they rode =
through the dark tunnels. Elevated levels of excitement gained momentum, th=
eir hearts soaring higher and higher. Bubbling continuously, dripping wet i=
n their swimsuits, joined the single file of men and few women at the gate =
of the unknown.          The discussion floating around caught their attent=
ion. Men guffawing exchanging outrageous reactions they heard. It wasn't th=
is but the strangled noise coming out whenever the instructor sent a person=
 down what looked like an ordinary slide made both pee on themselves every =
now and then. No, they were unabashed. They held on to each other giggling =
nervously leaving the queue to confide. 'I just peed!' 'I did, too!' No tra=
ce of backing out detected. They were hooked. The hidden emotions of the si=
sters unleashed surprising as well as delighting them.          A sudden dr=
op in the water jolted her back to present. It was her sister flailing abou=
t in a comical way. It was obvious the experience had shaken her. The expre=
ssion spoke volumes. 'I looked like that!' exclaiming to herself. She can a=
fford to witness what she went through some time ago all over again. Her si=
ster acted in the exact same way. Amazing. The lifeguard approached to give=
 a hand. He must have been puzzled. Two non-swimmers hitting the pool uncer=
emoniously. No worry though. The sister managed to get out of the water by =
herself.          They looked at each other with fresh eyes. Sisters: one f=
rom their hometown on a month's visit narrowing the eight years gap with he=
r carefree ways. The other is a resident of Abu Dhabi leading a quiet life =
raising two sons with her husband. An extraordinary journey they shared for=
 the day. Lasting impression it will have for the rest of their lives. The =
laughter of happiness rang out in unison. Words surpassed to display the sh=
ift the leap provided. Hugging, they savored the therapeutic experience.---=

 secluded part of a bush and under a bridge. The one who first saw them cla=
imed there maybe a case of baby dumping and caution was to be taken ,after =
a narration of how forensics would come up with evidence, from fingerprints=
 or erroneously coming out of the belly of lies ,&nbsp;that a dead person r=
evealed his killer by copying him up into his eyes for the dictatives to re=
veal it with their gadgets&nbsp;, narratives that picked their bristles of =
the cat walking amongst them and if such be the case as in the&nbsp;bags ,w=

d the whole thing to go into another nail biting moment ,as they found out =

s for hiding as they played games on fruit machines and mini soccer .If the=

he pack&nbsp;as usual, and a band of youth was taken to the new, youth havi=
ng money in their pockets ,and&nbsp;money to spend on beer like this .</spa=

bsp;and helter skelter ,the youth ran in all directions to escape arrest an=
d pay a fine ,failure of which was a number of days in the cells, save for =
Martin whose hands were stuck at the mini soccer&nbsp;table and looking at =
the goings on&nbsp;a little bit ignominious danger was nigh.A three star ba=
nd ranked officer came out to him and picked out the pack ,which Martin den=
ied to be his .The overzealous office then wanted someone to take him&nbsp;=
with him as an example to his subordinates .Arrests had to be made .Martin =
was the culprit whom he tried pulling into the car in front of his officers=
 who had returned after a chase for the youth but could not do so&nbsp;by t=
he strength of his arms and body build.</span></p>=20

 them and Martin gave him a punch to the face ,the officers&nbsp;hat going&=

 because there was no evidence aganist him ,and moreover the ranking office=

ugh political muscle,and working at the conviction of opposition members&nb=
sp;was some officers call of duty and persecution letter of employment.</sp=

g area when a call came from hospital that Martin was not to be let loose .=

a stops camp where both criminals ,political detainees ,and thugs were put =

tical opponent and was being brought into their holding cells. Martin was a=
 hero when he arrived .</span></p>=20

ng morning,and Martin s age&nbsp;was of concern when other political oppone=
nts were beaten black and blue and forced into submission for crimes they d=
id not commit ,as they too ,were being trailed in their suburbs by politica=

or Martins release ,at his gate at home and revenge was on his breathe each=
 day .Martins release was quick and swift ,he saw himself out on the street=
 and heading home .His young brother approached him to give him a letter th=
at he was going for teacher training&nbsp;interviews for those who wanted s=
cholarships to Cuba . The idea was exciting&nbsp;but to Martin who had no p=
roper clothes and a jogger shot and t-shirt ,how would he succeed. at such =
an interview nor get over his other pressing problem.</span></p>=20

 all told to come the next day for their results .His cousin took the infor=

 without a member having a ceremony, the group do meet on Thursdays to disc=
uss new ideas and the way forward for the group. Apart from the contributio=
n they make for a member who has a ceremony, all members of the group do co=

 Such money is used for charity or if need arises, to help a member who is =

in their table where they were drinking some strong alcoholic beverages and=
 most of them were even smoking cigarettes. Though Etim's refusal to join t=
hem wasn't taken personally by anyone, it was a bit Surprising that he coul=

n for their usual weekly meeting. A whole lot of issues were being addresse=

s to accommodate people of different and diverse religions, so he didn't in=

stop drinking alcohol. The reason for this decision was best known to him a=
lone. After this decision, he had attended several meetings with TGMA but n=
one of his fellow members seemed to really notice that he hasn't been indul=

m called Mr Etim aside and both of them were sitting on the table alone and=
 discussing. In front of them was a bottle of branded whiskey and two small=

cted Etim to carry the other one but to his greatest surprise, Etim didn't =
