Hi everyone.

  I have been trying to follow the lessons (you know which already, don't
you?) and feel that I need more practice on the simple level.  The later
lessons pick up speed a little too fast for me, before the earlier ones
have "stuck", and rereading them is just too boring to do more than once
or twice.

  So can you recommend some more *simple* texts for me to look at?
Textbook-style, with glossary, would be ideal but I can handle some
looking up too.  Embarrassingly simple ones is also fine ("Bill likes Mei
Li"), I just need to get some more practice (and get used to reading the
language).

  I figured subscribing to this list would be enough, but no one is
posting.  Shame on you.  :-)
