  thank you for your interest in this. This page: http://www.lojban.org/beginners.html has a lot of good resources that you can read and explore. My personal favorite reference is the Level 0 book which I've created a handy-dandy PDF of that you can download from this page: http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=Introductory+Learning+Material
  After you've read enough of these to have a basic understanding of how to string together a simple sentence, you can start on vocabulary. If you have a Palm OS pocket computer you might be able to run a quizzing and drilling program that I have found to be indispensable, SuperMemo. Another great tool is the Lojban-to-English-gloss translator, jbofi'e. http://www.lojban.org/jboski/ Be warned that the output of that program was baffling to me, previous to reading the basic introduction of how the language works, but do not be intimidated by it! Just put it off until you're ready or ask me or one of us to explain.
  Among constructed languages, Lojban seems to be exceptional in its community and learning tools. Please do not hesitate to ask for help on this list as it is very responsive.
