Well, do you mean the vocabulary part, or the grammar part? I've always had a lot of trouble learning vocabulary, but with programs like Supermemo (www.supermemo.com and http://www.digitalkingdom.org/~rlpowell/hobbies/lojban/) or Logflash (www.lojban.org/resources/tools.html), there's good ways to get that down. If LFB just doesn't have the detail for you, then you can check out the reference grammar (http://www.lojban.org/publications/reference_grammar.html), especially the first, second, and fifth chapters. And to help you practice, you might want to try your hand at reading some of the longer lojban texts (a partial listing is at http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=Texts+in+Lojban&bl) with the help of the translator, wordlists, and online dictionary (http://www.lojban.org/advanced.html).
