If you= want to use a gismu as a sumti, you need an article (le, la, lo, and
some others). If you want to use a cmavo (like mi, do, ko'a and lot= s of
others), you don't need articles.

When you see stuff lik= e "le mi palku", it doesn't mean that I'm pants, it
means "my pants", something different altogether.
