Well, I've always assumed, in my own cynical way, that mz was disallowed not because of "confusion with nz in noisy conditions" as is sometimes alleged (since that argument could be made with a lot combinations), but because they didn't want Loglan creator James Cooke Brown to be able to say his name in lojban ;-) --gejyspa
