three followup preti:

  1. .i nalcertu ke fanva selcpedu
.i lo to'e certu selfanva bo cpedu

Can someone ex= plain or point me to where I can learn about why adding 'sel' is ne= cessary?

  2. .i lo sodva cu xamgu lo gerku lo k= a kanro

In the above statement, would removing the "ka" merely introd= uce vagueness, or would it result in an incorrect meaning?

  3. = And finally, after learning about be... bei... be'o, here's my attempt:

"Soda pop is healthy for dogs' eyes."
.i lo sodva cu xamgu lo gerku pe k= anla lo ka kanro

    ...any issues?

As Luke said, "lo sodva cu xamgu lo gerku lo ka kanro".

"bei" works, but you don't need it in a "nu" = abstraction. "lo sodva cu xamgu
lo gerku lo ka kanro tu'a le fanri be vi la niubyrn". (The last wo= rd refers
to a Lynx station. Look it up on CATS and Polaris and you should be able to=
figure it out.)

For that I'd leave off the article and leave it a selbri: "n= alcertu ke fanva
selcpedu". If it were an answer to a "ma" question, put the = article in.
