That's my preferred interpretation too. This two-number combination is
also useful with rau/mo'a/du'e: "du'eci",  "three which is too many",
and also to express ranges: "za'ucime'ibi", "more than three, less
that eight", "su'ocisu'ebi", "between three and eight", and so on.

I also add an interpretation for incompatible numbers, not so useful
but still: "me'iciza'ubi", "less than three or more than eight", i.e.
"not between three and eight".
