"nivjesni" is fine. What are the Russian words? In English = needles that are
used with thread generally have eyes (holes), except knitting needles, whic= h
are shaped like pins. But in Lojban a pijne has to pierce something, so a sewing needle, but not a knitting needle, could be called "pijne"= .
