I usually assume I must be misunderstanding. ctufau f1 is a lesson by c1 for teaching audience c2 ideas/methods/lore c3 (du'u) about subject(s) c4 by method c5 (event). I don't see how I can be misunderstanding that. What do you do if you want to fill the 6th place without filling the rest? what if you want to refer to the 6th place in a sumti like {lo se ctufau}? Does this have something to do with {xi}?
