Just extremely (without necessarily being the most) is more like -tce {mutce}, which is also very productive! > There are many of those (selckiku once made a huge list of "smart > lujvo" like these) Easy! It's *easy* lujvo: {filjvo}. And I know they don't seem that easy to nintadni. I was a nintadni once myself, long ago. Any lujvo are confusing-- you have to get from the rafsi to the gismu and then from the gismu to the meaning, and do that more than once, and then put it all together! If you need the dictionary for every step of that, it can be quite an ordeal. But it's not really quite as difficult as it seems. For one thing we don't use all of the rafsi equally. If you start looking up lujvo that you encounter, you'll start to see the same basic rafsi over and over. You're probably already familiar with some common rafsi, like -jbo-. Once you've learned just a few more common ones, you'll recognize at least one part of most lujvo, which makes them seem less overwhelming. Every lujvo you learn can also teach you some rafsi-- if you just remember the word {braro'i}, boulder, you can learn -bra- {barda} "big" and -ro'i- {rokci} "rock". And as you learn more of the gismu, you'll find that context, plus the rafsi you do recognize, plus the clue of the letters in the ones you don't, all together is enough that you can guess what's going on. mi'e la stela selckiku mu'o -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Lojban Beginners" group.
