I'm partial to "gav", which is the Russian version, and "gavgava" for the= =20 brivla. Different dogs speak with different accents. With "uuf" or "gav", I= 'd=20 use "sa'ei" or "lu ... li'u", but not both. > And then would... > .i sa'ie lu kuak kuak li'u > work for 'Quack! Quack!'? "quack" has a good pedigree, being found in most Germanic languages and=20 several others. The French is "coin", which unrelatedly also means "corner"= .=20 The Russian is "=CB=D2=D1". The brivla could be "kuakna" or "kriaka". > I have one "Splash!" as well > .i sa'ie splac >=20 > is my guess. Thanks for the feedback! I think "splac" is malgli (at least the 's' at the beginning). How about=20 "pluf", "plusk", or "plask"? Come to think of it, English "sh" often comes= =20 from Old English "sc", so maybe English "plash" and Russian "=D0=CC=C1=D3= =CB" have a=20 common root.
