Of the three airports serving Washington DC, Dulles and National are=20
closest to here, about equally far (~15 miles). =A0National allows one = to=20
use the Metro system without renting a car. =A0Dulles has a connector b= us=20
to Metro, but it is not cheap. =A0Taxi would likely run over $30, but I= =20
don't know the exact rates.

Trains arrive at Union Station, and buses arrive a couple of blocks fro= m=20
Union Station. =A0One can board Metro at Union station on the "Red= Line"=20
towards Shady Grove, transferring to the Orange Line at "Metro Cen= ter"=20
which you then take to the western end of the line at "Vienna"= ; Station.=20
=A0 We are a quarter mile from the station (only 1 block after leaving = the=20
parking lot). =A0Most people walk, but possibly someone can pick you up= at=20
the station if you call. =A0Walking, exit to Nutley St on the South sid= e,=20

For those coming by car, we are one exit west of the Capital Beltway=20
(I495) on I66. =A0The beltway is a circle around DC, and treating that= =20
circle like a clock face I66 is located at about 9 o'clock. =A0From= the=20
North or South, take 495 to I66 West. =A0Go one exit (2 miles) to Nutle= y=20
Street. =A0Take the cloverleaf going SOUTH on Nutley, and you are 2 blo= cks=20
from my house. =A0Immediately get in the left lane, and after one light= =20
turn left at the second light which is Hermosa Drive. =A0There will be= =20
office buildings on your right. =A0(If you go 100 yards too far, you wi= ll=20
hit a major crossroads at Lee Highway, and there is a large shopping=20
center.) =A0On Hermosa, go up the short rise and one block to a T-junct= ion=20
into Beau Lane. =A0Turn left, and mine is the first non-corner house on= =20
the left, opposite Suteki Drive.
