And I'd say I'm on the side of older lojb= anists for this one :-) While {lurni'acadzu} is kind of a description, it does not describe me =E2= =80=9Cintemporally=E2=80=9D (in which case we would use {lo}, anyway). It d= id describe me (maybe) at a time, but is now only used for it's label value= . I don't take added consonant or missing vowel as an offense to my =E2=80= =9Cname=E2=80=9D, but more as an =E2=80=9Cofficialization=E2=80=9D of that = description becoming a name. It's true that I remove the meaning of the name, but it's easy to find it a= gain. It's here, it just became less important. =E2=80=A6 I did not express myself on that point on the lojban list, becaus= e I'm really new (not using {be} yet, heh!), and I won't take any position = about that, as the language is not =E2=80=9Cmine=E2=80=9D yet (=E2=80=9Cmin= e=E2=80=9D in the sense =E2=80=9CI speak it=E2=80=9D, =E2=80=9CI'm an actor= of it's culture=E2=80=9D, not that I own it in any way ;-)). But, well, as= you brought the subject in the beginner list, here is my point of view. --=20 You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "= Lojban Beginners" group.
