Your proposal certainly is a good one, given the idea of a particular cultural influence on what we call science. But I don't see science as a cultural thing, or there being terribly different styles of it. I mean, do people in China or India do it differently than in the west? They come to basically the same conclusions don't they? As far as I know you only get the right answers if you do it right, so there's only really one way. Perhaps I need to study the topic more. We lack a lot of vocabulary indeed= ... But I find it very understandable that we lack jargon words such as "Th= e Scientific Method". I don't see the irony. Lojban strives for being cultu= rally neutral; it is only logical that our meager vocabulary focuses first = on the more universal idea of knowledge, and only later on such specific co= ncepts developed only recently and in a specific cultural environment.
