I was wrong about that, actually. The updates *did* trash the local
hack, but that hack was to make things like "{jvs klama}" turn into
jbovlaste links.
The real issue was that someone updated trunk (the "in development"
branch) to accept basically *everything* wrapped in {...} as a
plugin. We've moved to the more stable 6.x branch. Problem solved.
