Sounds like we're more or less in agreement over (1) and (3), then. So
what would you use {ni} for? Also, "the length of the car" seems
something important to be able to say, although I can't actually think
of any use for it. CLL talks about {le ni le pixra cu blanu [kei]} as
"the amount-of (the picture being-blue)", but doesn't give any place
where that sumti would actually be useful. What am I overlooking?

2') "The length of the car amazed me." (mi manci lo <abstractor> lo
karce cu clani)

Feel free to provide a better example, or say flat out that there is
never a use for "the length of the car".
