That sounds like the right way of going about things. There is of course the slight risk that a rogue BPFKJ might do something reckless, but in any case they do not wield _absolute_ power – they report to the LLG, which can remove them, and revert their changes.
It is better to have a decision that stands unless a majority of the members are dissatisfied enough to reverse it, than to not have a decision at all unless everyone agrees.
