In English, the use of "right" is inconsistent. Let's say I'm facing north,
and north of me is Laura, who is facing south. In front of Laura is south of
Laura. To the right of Laura is west of Laura.

Now suppose I'm facing north, and north of me is a house, whose front door is
on the south side. In front of the house is south of the house. But to the
right of the house is east of the house, or at least it was when I was drawing
surveys of houses.

Now suppose I'm facing north, and north of me is a round column, which has no
obvious front or left. Which way is right of the column? Which way is in front
of the column?

How do these work in Lojban?
