Yes.  I have no trouble with changing the definition.  But the
word 'gay' in single quotes means that the gismu was built
using "gay" rather than "happy" as the source word, as a look at
<http://www.lojban.org/tiki/gismu+Etymology> reveals.  That's a historical
fact that cannot be changed.  Rather, it should be clearly documented
that the words in single quotes are etymologies, not definitions.

oh damn it. I thought it was mnemonics.
