[On "very" and {mutce}]
Strictly, it is a function that creates a new predicate whose truth curve is
systematically related to the truth curve for the base predicate.

Ok. But presumably a new predicate with the same arguments as the original one?

As a truth
curve is about a proposition a a whole, not some part of it, so not about the
selbri nor the sumti but how true it is that this sumti fits this selbri. I
am not sure what you mean by a function *about* the runner or the running,
these are about the whole proposition.

I mean that transforming {ko'a broda ko'e} into {ko'a mutce le ka ce'u broda ko'e} seems to treat {ko'a} and {ko'e} differently, so it doesn't look like we're applying a function to the original predicate.

{le du'u ko'a broda ko'e cu mutce [le ka ...]} looks more like a
function applied to the original predicate.
