[jbovlaste] Re: pancreas, hepatopancreas, spleen

Well, if We had created a gismu for 'liver' during the initial generation of the entire gismu list, what would the result have been?  Can Anyone think of a reason to not use that process?  [I'm a little out of the loop with respect to the views of how new gismu are added.  So, e'osai, forgive any ignorance of Mine.]

We have a gismu for "liver". What about the pancreas and spleen? "dizlivga"
for "pancreas"? In English "liver" is native (it goes back at least to
Germanic) but "pancreas" and "spleen" are fu'vla from Greek.

The hepatopancreas, also called the tomalley, is an organ in arthropods which
combines the liver and the pancreas. Since we don't have a word for pancreas,
can we just call it "livga"?
