[jbovlaste] polarize
I found the word "slijga" on Wikipedia in [[gusni]]. It makes some sense, but
I don't think it's the right word.
Polarized light can oscillate at an angle to something, but it can also be
circularly polarized. Given a direction of propagation, the polarization
states can be mapped onto a sphere (and inside it, if it's partially
polarized): orthogonally polarized is on the X axis, diagonally polarized is
on the Y axis, and circularly polarized is on the Z axis. Between them are
various oblique and elliptical polarizations.
So what's a good word for "polarize" or "polarized light"?
