[lojban-beginners] Re: pronounciation problem

I'm fine with 'j', personally.  I had a lot of problems with such things as a kid (I was entirely unable to pronounce "beige" for quite some time), but some speech classes took care of that.  The Lojban pronunciation guides kind of helped me out with all their talk of voiced and unvoiced sounds; the 'j' is just like the Lojban 'c', but using your voice.

Everyone I know IRL, especially me (but maybe a dozen or so others),
have problems with the letter 'j'. It either comes out as i (as in
"loiban") or c (as in "locban"). Sometimes it becomes "lodjban" which
isn't acceptable, either. I've been able to say it correctly a few
times, but that's rare.

Any help?
