Doctor Worm,

and he isn't calling himself Doctor Worm.

I think it's worthwhile to note that in Spanish, a common idiom
meaning "I'm [name]", or "My name is [name]", is this: "Me llamo
[nombre]". This translates literally as "I call myself [name]". So
maybe, in Spanish, he *would* call himself Doctor Worm.
