you're right! i heard on the lojban irc channel that it should be
accepting stuff like that. fixing that now.

i got a weird bug that lets it think 1.111[...] != 1.111[...] :/
(pano fi'u so  or something near that) going to look into that as well

It seems to be a common problem found among all of Python programs using float.
You can try to use decimal type.
