According to the Lojban Reference Grammar:
Stress falls on the next to the last syllable of all
words, unless that vowel is ``y'', which is never
stressed; in such words the third-to-last syllable is
stressed. If a word only has one syllable, then that
syllable is not stressed.
However, I am not sure what is exactly understood
under â??syllableâ??. For example, where is the next
to the last syllable in the word {fe'ire'a}?
How it should be pronounced?
fe'irE'a or fE'ire'a or may be fe'Ire'a?
