Yes, stress is relevant for brivla, but it is also irrelevant for cmavo.
{MI'e} and {mi'E} are both allowed pronunciations of the same word.
The question then is, is stress relevant for cmevla, as it is for brivla, or
is it irrelevant for cmevla, as it is for cmavo? And my answer comes from
examinig why it was made relevant for brivla and why it was made irrelevant
for cmavo. It was made relevant for brivla because it is needed for the parse.
It was made irrelevant for cmavo because it is not needed for the parse. For
cmevla, stress is not needed for the parse either. So I conclude that cmevla
are like cmavo in this respect.
