[lojban-beginners] Re: learning lojban

There's also LogFlash, which is a fairly good tool if you want to learn every gismu. It's rather dated but as far as I know still matches the current definition of the language.

In general, most learners of Lojban do the Lojban for Beginners course
http://www.tlg.uci.edu/~opoudjis/lojbanbrochure/lessons/book1.html

followed by dipping into or reading The Complete Lojban Language
http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=The+Lojban+Reference +Grammar&bl

Neither of these are interactive, but they are more or less the standard way to learn the language. A project called ICSL (Intensive Course in Spoken Lojban) was working on making a more interactive course based on conversations in comic strip format, but it's been stalled since December or so.

Hi everybody,

I'm wondering if there are any audio programs

Thanks,

Not quite a CD for learning lojban, but if you want to hear it being
spoken and learn a bit:

I saw somewhere that someone is developing content for a tape on
learning lojban..but I don't know how far along that is

For interactive software, there's Parallel 2

or any on the list here:
http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=Software+assisted +learning&bl
or the games in the lojbanic software section of the lojban.org site.

Good luck to you in your endeavors
