The intentions of these lists seem to different.

By making one big list out of two or three smaller ones,
you don't necessarily help the learner, I'm afraid.
Smaller chunks are simply easier to digest.

Also, beginners may actually appreciate a bit of
repetition or different points of view. Provided there
are not too many apparent contradictions.
